Energetic Portraiture is a unique offering that blends Nadia’s intuitive artistic approach with her innovative coaching framework (The Cartography of Self). Energetic Portraiture Coaching Immersion (half-day or full-day)

Individual Energetic Portraiture Immersions are a bespoke offering, ideal for entrepreneurs, executives, and individuals wanting focused reflection and clarity around their lives and work. In these half-day or full-day intensives, Nadia guides you through meditation, intention setting, and in-depth coaching dialogue while simultaneously creating an abstract painting that encapsulates your inner shifts and insights. You'll leave with newfound clarity, alignment, and a meaningful piece of art to anchor your transformation.

You’ll design the experience together ahead of time, based on the topics you’d like to cover and the number of paintings you’d like. The immersion will take place in a location of your choosing (ideally the space that you’d want art for, like your home or office!) or Nadia’s art studio in the redwoods in Mill Valley.

Energetic Portraiture Office Hours

Bring Nadia to your event, conference, retreat, or team offsite to offer personalized 1-1.5 hour Energetic Portraiture Office Hours sessions for participants. Each participant will receive individual coaching combined with a live painting experience, resulting in a tangible reflection of their personal insights and emotional landscape to take home. Past event participants have described these sessions as profoundly impactful, noting how their personalized paintings provide powerful visual reminders of their experience, inspire them to have more vulnerable conversations with friends and colleagues around their goals and challenges, and open up to their own creativity in a new way.

  • Nadia is an executive coach, life designer, strategist, and artist. She's been doing executive coaching for the last decade and has developed an innovative coaching and leadership development methodology, The Cartography of Self. This three-day process is designed for visionary entrepreneurs to reflect on their lives - past, present, and future– and she has guided more than 100 leaders through it one-on-one. 

    Beyond that, Nadia does ongoing coaching and consulting work with leaders and their teams. Her clients have included executives at Stanford University, The White House, Gladstone Institute, Asana, The Center for Humane Technology, Neurohacker Collective, Andela, and numerous YC-backed entrepreneurs.

    For Nadia, coaching and painting are intimately intertwined and synergistic– she has synesthesia, and often sees and feels people and music in colors and forms. Historically, she’d paint before sessions with clients to move stagnant energy and deepen her presence, and then again after sessions.  By analyzing the works’ form, colors, and essence, she’d better understand her clients and their feelings, which, in turn, enhanced her coaching practice. It was these experiences (and informally coaching people at parties while painting) that inspired this offering.

  • Anything! Nadia’s coaching methodology is holistic, ranging from life coaching to executive coaching to spirituality, embodiment, and creativity. She believes that all areas of life are interrelated and matter, and that if anything is off, then it’s all off, in a compounding way. Inversely, alignment and momentum in one area of life can lead to virtuous cycles. Examples of possible coaching topics include: reimagining your vision for your work and life, refining your daily habits, designing systems to scale your impact, reframing limiting beliefs, and navigating complex dynamics within relationships and teams.   • 1: Guided Meditation & Intention Setting
    Nadia will guide you through a grounding meditation to develop intentions for the session and to focus on what's most alive and highest leverage for you right now. 

    2: Choosing Your Color Palette
    Next, you'll select colors that you’re intuitively drawn to, setting the visual direction for your paintings.

    3: Coaching Dialogue & Live Painting
    Nadia will listen and guide you through a coaching inquiry while simultaneously translating the conversation and emotional journey into dynamic, abstract artworks on canvas.

    4: Reflection & Integration
    Together, you’ll reflect on the paintings, exploring how their colors, textures, and forms capture and illuminate your inner experience and insights. Many clients find this visual artifact helpful for integrating and realizing their insights and visions long after the session ends.
